SpotLumeImage resizer

Your files and privacy

Last updated 17 October 2026

Your photos stay on your device

The image resizer reads and processes the files you select in your browser. SpotLume does not upload your photos, filenames or exported images. Downloads are created locally; the website has no image upload endpoint.

Clear the photos or close the page to release the files held by the tool. Original files and any downloads you saved remain on your device until you delete them.

What changes in an export

Exports are newly encoded images. The tool does not copy source metadata such as camera or location tags. Browser encoding can change colors, quality and dimensions. Keep your originals and inspect the output before using it.

Removing metadata does not remove identifying details visible in the picture. SpotLume is an image preparation tool, not a guarantee of anonymity or a forensic metadata scrubber.

Cookies and measurement

This version includes no advertising, analytics scripts, accounts or application cookies. It does not save your photos or settings to browser storage. Third-party fonts and scripts are not loaded by the application.

Loading the website

The website is delivered through Cloudflare and our hosting infrastructure. Website requests necessarily expose technical connection information, such as your IP address, requested URL and browser headers, to that infrastructure. Providers may process or retain connection data for delivery and security. Local image processing does not prevent this ordinary website traffic.

The application does not put filenames or image data into website requests or URLs. Avoid adding personal information to a URL yourself. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its handling of personal data.

Future changes

If the tool adds advertising, measurement or another data-handling feature, this page and the relevant controls will need to change. The statements above describe the current version.
